There is climbing, caving, gliding & water sports all less than 20 miles away.

It's in an area rich in heritage, with mills, canals, museums and the Derwent Valley Visitor Centre all nearby, and attractions such as the Crich Tramway Village Museum, Matlock Bath's Cable Cars & Gulliver's Kingdom, Alton Towers and the scenic limestone dales of the Peak Park & Carsington Water all an easy drive. Ashbourne (the Gateway to Dovedale), the country towns of Matlock, Buxton and Bakewell are easy to reach, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are a short drive.

On the ground floor there is a breakfast kitchen which has been finished to a high standard with double inset ovens and 5 gas burners and an large fridge / freezer. There is a cloak room/utility room off the hall way which has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The large main lounge/ dining room with its comfortable sofas has a wall mounted flat screen TV. Plenty of space for 14 people to dine, and good views over the Chevin hills.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom, which has a bath, toilet and basin. On the ground floor in bedroom 6 there is an ensuite walk in shower with the cloakroom immediately next door with a toilet. On the lower floor there is an ensuite wet room with toilet and basin and a seperate bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet and basin. The bathrooms have under floor heating. The decking area has garden furniture, barbecue and hot tub.
There is an additional ground floor bedroom with a zip and link bed which can be a double or twin bedded room. This is bedroom number six. There is an en suite shower in this room. The occupancy will be 14/16 as the owner has two inflatable mattresses with bedding which will be charged at £20 each.

Central heating, all fuel and power is included in rent, bed-linen (duvets) and towels included in rent. Plenty of parking to the front of the property. The owner of Chevin View can arrange golf breaks at the local golf clubs if required.
A £150 Good Housekeeping Deposit is payable and is returned 1 week after departure if all booking conditions are met.
Winter Breaks from November to Easter. Short breaks taken throughout the year except Christmas and New Year.
Bookings taken Friday to Friday. No stag groups at this property.
