This house has a magnificent beamed dining room and large sitting room, each heavily beamed, half timbered, and with inglenook fireplaces with dog-grates for a roaring log fire. The dining room retains its two original bread ovens inset to either side of the fireplace. The kitchen and built in pantry have solid wood work-tops and all the appliances of a modern home.To the rear of the lounge is a child-friendly dining and play-area leading to a boot-porch and toy-storage area. There is a ground floor twin bedroom.
There is a front porch, though not used as principal access to the house, offers coat storage, and leads to an entrance hall.
First Floor
The first floor is accessed via a broad staircase, leading to a large landing. There are three bedrooms on this floor: One family rooms with double bed & extra single, and one double with en-suite shower room. There is a third twin bedroom. The landing offers a family bathroom with toilet and basin and a shower over the bath.
Second Floor
Here are two further bedrooms, a double and a twin room, accessed by a broad staircase, with another large landing area interestingly set in the crux of the A-Frame beams of the house-roof. There is an extra pull out single bed which can be moved to any room.
The enclosed garden, with its lawns and patio has parking for 5 cars and is safe for children, with electric security gate. The out-house provides a well-equipped utility room with extra freezer, and separate log-store.
