Stoke-on-Trent is also the home of 'The Potteries' where you can discover how the worlds finest china is produced and buy the products at a bargain price. Alternatively take the family on a trip to Amerton Farm, on the Stafford side of Uttoxeter, besides the farm animals you will find farm shops with gifts and crafts, a garden centre a restaurant and lots more. Children will also enjoy the Blackbrook Zoological Park with its many animals and birds.

The Peak District is ideal, perfect for walking, cycling, pony trekking, rock climbing, or visiting caves.
