Nestling in the grounds of the large farmhouse the single story barn conversion has been skillfully renovated, retaining many exposed beams and trusses. The sunny patio to the side offers privacy and wonderful views over the surrounding fields.

The Coach House is situated in Somersal Herbert which is south of Ashbourne just a short drive ( 7 miles ) from Alton Towers with Drayton Manor Park a little further a field. At Tamworth is the Snowdome, and Waterworld at Stoke-on-Trent. Stoke-on-Trent is also the home of 'The Potteries'. Alternatively take the family on a trip to Amerton Farm. Children will also enjoy the Blackbrook Zoological Park.

The Peak District is ideal, perfect for walking, cycling, pony trekking, rock climbing, or visiting caves. Carsington Water provides activities such as windsurfing, sailing and fishing. There are many National Trust properties in the area including Sudbury Hall in the adjacent village and Chatsworth House and Shugborough Hall.
